    Private Pilot Certificate

    Begin your flight training by earning your first pair of wings as a Private Pilot. You will be able to fly in good weather and carry passengers.

    50-70 hours of flight training
    55 hours of aircraft rental (includes solo) 20 hours of ground instruction

    Instrument Rating

    Add an Instrument Rating to your pilot certificate to be qualified to fly in adverse weather, and increase overall safety.

    35 hours of flight training

    Commercial Pilot Certificate

    Becoming a Commercial Pilot allows you to fly for hire. Pilots must accumulate 250 hours to be eligible for this checkride.

    155 hours of aircraft rental (building time beyond your Private & Instrument)
    ~10 hours of ground instruction

    Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)

    If you have a passion for teaching, take flying to a new level by obtaining a CFI Certificate (CFII also available).

    10 hours of flight training
    11 hours of aircraft rental
    20 hours of ground instruction
